Security Guard Software
for Tulsa Companies

CGuardPro is security guard management software for Tulsa guard companies covering the city, Broken Arrow, Owasso, Sand Springs and the Port of Catoosa: scheduling and relief coverage, GPS and selfie clock-in, QR or NFC guard tours, incident and daily activity reports and a client portal, in one web command center with guard, supervisor and client apps for iOS and Android. It costs $5 per user per month, with a 7-day free trial. Tulsa’s guard work is industrial at heart: refineries on the Arkansas River, aircraft maintenance and a river port. Every guard on those posts carries a CLEET license with its own dates.

What does guard work in Tulsa look like?

Refineries on the Arkansas

The refineries along the river in west Tulsa run around the clock, with contractor gates during turnarounds and perimeter tours on hazardous ground where checkpoints must be scanned in order.

Aerospace at the airport

Aircraft maintenance and aerospace manufacturers around Tulsa International Airport control hangar and flight-line access, and log every visitor and vehicle.

Tulsa Port of Catoosa

The inland river port at the head of the McClellan-Kerr navigation system brings barge docks, industrial tenants and long fence lines.

Downtown and the BOK Center

Arena nights, the Blue Dome and Arts districts and downtown offices add event and lobby posts in the same few blocks.

The Gathering Place and the river

Large public spaces and riverfront trails bring daytime crowds and dusk-to-close patrols.

Hospitals and campuses

Hospital systems, the University of Tulsa and OSU-Tulsa staff garages, emergency departments and campus rounds.

What does CLEET require of a guard company in Tulsa?

The same statewide system as the rest of Oklahoma: the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training licenses the agency for five years and each guard for three, under 59 O.S. § 1750.1 and following. The agency needs a licensed supervisor and $100,000 of coverage. Unarmed guards complete 40 hours of training (Phases I and II); armed guards complete 72 hours, adding the 32-hour Phase IV firearms course, and must take the MMPI psychological assessment.

Every guard completes at least 8 hours of continuing education from an approved source each licensing period, and the agency notifies CLEET within five days of hiring or terminating someone. Unarmed guards at a licensed agency may work for up to 45 days while their license is processed; armed guards may not. We have not found a separate Tulsa guard license in official sources; confirm with the city, and with refinery and port clients, which site credentials they add.

CGuardPro records each guard’s CLEET license, armed status, CE and any client site badge with expiry alerts; it does not verify anything with CLEET. See our Oklahoma page and the Oklahoma licensing guide.

Tulsa Security Software Questions

Do armed guards in Tulsa need a psychological test?

Yes. Oklahoma requires armed applicants to take the MMPI as part of CLEET licensing, on top of the 72 hours of training. Unarmed guards do not.

How long does a CLEET guard license last?

Three years for a guard, five years for an agency. Each guard also needs at least 8 hours of continuing education per licensing period, so track the CE date along with the license date.

Does Tulsa require its own security guard license?

We have not found a separate city license in official sources. Refinery, port and airport clients often add their own site credentials and safety training, which you can track per guard the same way.

How do we prove a refinery tour was walked in order?

Set the checkpoints in the sequence the client wants. Each QR or NFC scan is verified on the server with time and position, a photo or note can be added, and an incomplete tour raises an alert.

What if there is no signal at the far end of a site?

Incidents, visitor entries and tour start and end queue on the phone and send when the connection returns; a checkpoint scanned offline is stamped when it reaches the server. Clock-in needs a live connection.
