Oklahoma security guard software
for agencies licensed by CLEET
CGuardPro is security guard management software for Oklahoma agencies: scheduling and relief coverage, GPS and selfie clock-in, QR and NFC guard tours for remote energy sites, incident reports, visitor logs, CLEET license and training tracking and a client portal, with guard, supervisor and client apps for iOS and Android. It costs $5 per user per month with a 7-day free trial. CLEET licenses your agency and your guards; the software keeps the records behind them.
What running guards in Oklahoma actually involves
CLEET, the police academy council, licenses guards
Oklahoma security licensing sits with the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training, the same body that certifies the state’s peace officers. That is why guard training is organized in numbered phases, like an academy syllabus.
40 hours unarmed, 72 hours armed
CLEET’s training page lists Phase I and Phase II, 20 hours each, for an unarmed guard, plus the state exam. An armed guard adds Phase IV, 32 hours of firearms training, and the firearms exam.
A psychological test before the gun
Under 59 O.S. § 1750.3A, armed applicants take the MMPI or another CLEET-approved instrument during firearms training, evaluated by a licensed Oklahoma psychologist. Build that time into every armed hire.
Five-year agency, three-year guard
The agency license runs five years and guard licenses three, each with at least 8 hours of continuing education per period. Long terms are exactly how renewals get forgotten after the person who filed them has left.
Five days to report every hire and exit
CLEET requires written notice within five days of each new hire and termination, and within 10 days of a change in the licensed supervisor. With normal turnover, that is a weekly task, not an annual one.
Energy country: yards, pads and pipelines
Oil and gas operators, pipeline yards and equipment storage spread officers across remote sites where a timestamped QR or NFC checkpoint is the only proof that a patrol actually happened.
Oklahoma City and Tulsa
The two metros carry most of the contract hours: hospitals, office towers, apartments, distribution centers along the interstates, and event venues that need extra officers for a single night.
Bases, aerospace and tribal enterprises
Military installations, aerospace maintenance, and casinos and resorts operated by tribal nations bring access-controlled posts, visitor logs and clients that read every incident report closely.

Oklahoma questions, answered plainly
Who licenses security guards and agencies in Oklahoma? +
The Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET), under the Oklahoma Security Guard and Private Investigator Act, 59 O.S. § 1750.1 and following. The agency, its licensed supervisor and every guard are licensed through CLEET, which now takes applications only through its online portal.
How many training hours does an Oklahoma guard need? +
According to CLEET, an unarmed guard completes Phase I and Phase II, 20 hours each, and passes the unarmed exam; an armed guard adds Phase IV, 32 hours of firearms training. Guards also need at least 8 hours of continuing education from an approved source in each licensing period. Confirm current requirements with CLEET.
Does Oklahoma have daily overtime? +
No. Oklahoma has no state overtime law, so the federal rule applies: time and a half over 40 hours in the workweek for non-exempt employees. CGuardPro tracks hours against a weekly threshold and shows who is about to cross it before you assign another shift.
Can CGuardPro help with the five-day hire and termination notices? +
It keeps the facts you need to file them: each officer’s start date, status and license on one record, and the roster as it really is. The notice itself is still filed by you with CLEET; CGuardPro has no connection to CLEET’s systems.
How is it priced? +
It is $5 per user per month, one plan with every feature, plus an optional one-time implementation package of $299.99. A user is anyone with a login, including client logins. There is a 7-day free trial.
