Security guard software
sized for a five-officer company
A small guard company does not need an enterprise contract, a sales cycle and a minimum seat count. It needs the schedule, proof that officers were on post, reports the client will actually read, and a monthly bill that grows only when the company does. CGuardPro is priced per user, with every feature in one plan, so a startup with one contract pays for the people it has today. Trusted by 600+ security companies.

Short answer
For a small or startup security company, the deciding factor is usually price per user. CGuardPro costs $5 per user per month, where a user is anyone with a login, with every feature in one plan: scheduling, GPS and selfie clock-in, QR or NFC guard tours, incident and daily activity reports, panic button and a client portal. There is a one-time $299.99 implementation fee and a 7-day free trial.

Why small guard companies outgrow spreadsheets and group chats
The owner is the scheduler, the dispatcher and the supervisor
In a five-officer company one person answers the 2 a.m. call-off, finds the relief and then writes the client report in the morning. Every tool that needs a separate login costs that person time they do not have.
Enterprise software is priced for someone else
Many platforms quote by sales call, require a minimum number of seats or put the features a small company needs in a higher tier. A startup ends up paying for capacity it will not use for years.
The first big client asks for proof
The contract that moves a small company up a size usually comes with a question: can you show us when your officer was on site and what they did? A paper log or a text message is a weak answer.
How a small company gets running
Start the 7-day trial
Set up your clients, sites and posts, invite your officers to the guard app and try a real week of shifts before paying anything.
Build the schedule once
Create the rotation for each post. When an officer calls off, the open shift shows up as a coverage gap you can fill from the same screen.
Let the phone collect the proof
Officers clock in with GPS and a selfie, scan QR or NFC checkpoints on their tours, and file incident and daily activity reports with photos from the guard app.
Show the client their own record
Invite the client contact to the portal, where they see tours, reports and incidents at their own sites. That record is often what wins the second contract.
What a small security company gets for $5 per user

Frequently asked questions
How much does CGuardPro cost for a 5-officer security company? +
Count everyone with a login, not just officers. Five officers plus the owner plus one dispatcher is 7 users, so 7 × $5 = $35 per month. If you invite a client contact to the portal, that is an eighth user and $40 per month. Add the one-time $299.99 implementation fee in the first month. There is a 7-day free trial before any of it.
Is there a minimum number of users or a long contract? +
Pricing is per user with one plan, so the cost follows your headcount. A small company pays for the people it has; when it hires, the bill grows by $5 per new user per month. Check the current terms on the pricing page before you sign up.
Do we lose features by being small? +
No. There is one plan, and every feature is in it: scheduling, clock-in, tours, reports, dispatch, panic button, push-to-talk radio, client portal and the Vigia AI assistant. A small company uses the same product a larger one does.
Does CGuardPro run payroll or send invoices to our clients? +
No. CGuardPro is operations software. It produces approved hours by officer and post, which go to Gusto (US companies) or QuickBooks Online, or out as a CSV, Excel or PDF export. Payroll is run in your payroll system, and client invoices are produced in your accounting or billing system.
We are just getting licensed. Is it too early? +
Setting up the schedule, post orders and reports before the first contract means your first client sees a working operation on day one. Licensing requirements are set by your state, and the platform keeps your officers' license expiry dates and alerts you before they lapse. See the state guide for your state.
