No signal in the basement.
The report still gets filed
Parking garages, basements and rural sites have dead zones. The CGuardPro guard app keeps working through them for the actions that matter most, and is explicit about the ones that need a connection.

Short answer
An offline guard app lets officers keep working where there is no mobile data. When the CGuardPro guard app has no connection, it queues incident reports (with their photos), visitor entries and the start and end of a tour, and sends them automatically when data returns; an incident keeps the time it was written. Two limits apply: clock-in needs a live connection, and a checkpoint scanned offline is timestamped when the server receives it.
At a glance
- Queued offline
- Incident reports with photos, visitor entries, tour start and end
- Needs signal
- Clock-in
- Checkpoint scans
- Stamped when they reach the server
- Safety
- Only queued when nothing reached the server, so no duplicates
- Visible
- Banner shows pending actions until sent
What dead zones cost
Reports written later
The officer walks back to the lobby to find signal and writes the incident from memory.
Lost submissions
The app spins, the officer gives up, the report never existed.
Double submissions
Retrying blindly creates the same report twice.
How offline mode works
Detects real network failure
An action is queued only when the request never reached the server.
Keeps the original time
An incident report keeps the time it was written, not the time it was sent.
Shows what is pending
A banner tells the officer how many actions are waiting and when they are sending.
Sends on reconnect
When data returns, the queue is sent in order, photos included.
What officers and clients get
- Incidents filed where they happen
- Photos kept and uploaded later
- No duplicate reports from retries
- Clear limits, stated up front
- Less time walking to find signal
Frequently asked questions
Can officers clock in offline? +
No. Clock-in needs a live connection because it verifies time and location at that moment.
What happens to tour checkpoints scanned offline? +
The start and end of the tour are queued. A checkpoint scanned without signal is stamped when it reaches the server, so plan basement routes with that in mind.
Can an offline report be sent twice? +
No. Actions are queued only when the request never reached the server, which prevents duplicates.
Does the supervisor app work offline too? +
Both mobile apps use the same offline queue.
