Software for in-house
corporate security teams

A proprietary security department does the same work as a guard company — officers on posts, patrols, incidents, visitors — but it answers to the business it protects, not to a client. Most of the tools on the market assume you are a contractor. CGuardPro is built around posts, officers and the record of each shift, which works the same whether the sites belong to a client or to your own company.

Short answer

In-house corporate security team software runs a proprietary security department: who is on which post, what they patrolled and what happened. CGuardPro gives a corporate security team scheduling, GPS and selfie clock-in, QR or NFC guard tours, incident and daily activity reports, visitor and vehicle logs, post orders, a panic button and push-to-talk radio, with editable roles so each manager sees only their sites.

Why corporate security teams end up on the wrong tools

Contractor software assumes you bill someone

Guard company platforms are organized around clients, contracts and invoices. An in-house team has none of that, and spends the setup bending its sites and departments into a billing model.

Facilities tools do not understand a shift

Work-order and facilities systems can log a broken door, but not who was on the lobby post, whether the night tour was walked or what was handed over at shift change.

Every site keeps its own binder

Headquarters, the warehouse and the data center each keep their own visitor book, incident log and post orders. When leadership asks for a picture across sites, someone builds it by hand.

How an in-house team runs on CGuardPro

01

Map your sites and posts

Set up each facility as a site with its posts, post orders and geofence. Business units or regions can be modeled as the "client" of their sites, so reports and access follow your organization.

02

Schedule and verify the coverage

Build rotations for each post, cover call-offs from the same screen, and have officers clock in with GPS and a selfie from the guard app.

03

Record the work of each shift

QR or NFC tours with missed-tour alerts, incident reports with photos, daily activity reports, visitor entries, vehicle logs with the plate read from a photo, and shift pass-down between officers.

04

Give each stakeholder the right view

Editable roles and per-person permissions decide who sees what. A facility manager can get portal access to their own site's tours, reports and incidents, while the security director sees everything.

What a corporate security department gets

  • One record of coverage, tours and incidents across every company site
  • Visitor management and vehicle logs at the front desk or gatehouse
  • Post orders on each post, readable from the guard app
  • Panic button, push-to-talk radio and dispatch in the same platform
  • Alarm receiver for panel signals in Contact ID, SIA DC-09 and Surgard
  • Editable roles and per-person permissions for managers and officers
  • Officer license and certification expiry warnings
  • Approved hours exported as CSV, Excel or PDF, or sent to Gusto or QuickBooks Online

Frequently asked questions

Is CGuardPro only for contract guard companies? +

No. CGuardPro is used by 600+ security companies, and the platform is built around sites, posts, officers and shifts, which an in-house security department has too. The "client" in CGuardPro can simply be a business unit, a region or the facility itself.

Can site or facility managers see their own site's activity? +

Yes. You can give a manager portal access to their own sites, where they see tours, reports and incidents there and nothing else. Roles are editable, and individual permissions can be granted or denied per person.

Does it handle visitors and vehicles at our front desk or gate? +

Yes. Officers log visitors and vehicles from the guard app, and the vehicle plate can be read from a photo taken with the phone. Entries are searchable by site and date.

Does CGuardPro connect to our HR or access-control systems? +

Not directly. Today CGuardPro connects to Gusto (US) and QuickBooks Online for hours, exports attendance as CSV, Excel or PDF, receives alarm panel signals and shows RTSP/ONVIF video. There is no public API. Ask us about your specific system before you decide.

How is our data kept separate and secure? +

Every request is checked against the company the user belongs to, access is controlled by roles and per-person permissions, and each person has one active session per app. The details are on our security and privacy page.

How much does it cost? +

$5 per user per month, where a user is anyone with a login, with every feature in one plan. There is a one-time $299.99 implementation fee and a 7-day free trial.
