Security Guard Software
for Fort Worth Companies

CGuardPro is security guard management software for companies running posts in Fort Worth and Tarrant County: scheduling and relief coverage, GPS and selfie clock-in, QR or NFC guard tours, incident and daily activity reports and a client portal, in one web command center with guard, supervisor and client apps for iOS and Android. It costs $5 per user per month, with a 7-day free trial. Fort Worth guard work leans on distribution yards along the Alliance corridor, plants, event venues and gated communities, the kinds of posts where proof of patrol matters more than presence.

What does guard work in Fort Worth look like?

The Alliance logistics corridor

North Fort Worth around AllianceTexas and Fort Worth Alliance Airport is distribution centers, rail and truck yards. The typical post is a yard patrol, dock checks and a gate log across big fenced ground, and the client’s logistics manager wants a timestamped checkpoint trail, not a signature on a clipboard.

Plants with their own rules

Aerospace, defense and heavy manufacturing on the west and south sides run strict entry rules: who may come in, which gate opens when, what must be logged. Post orders written per post keep the officer on that client’s rules instead of a generic handbook.

Event nights and race weekends

The Stockyards, Sundance Square, Dickies Arena and the Will Rogers complex, plus race weekends at Texas Motor Speedway on the north edge of the city, mean short, dense deployments. Build the roster for the event and talk on push-to-talk channels in the app instead of renting radios.

One market with Dallas, measured in drive time

Many Fort Worth companies also hold accounts in Arlington, Denton and Dallas. A supervisor driving I-30 between sites logs each visit from the phone with position and time, so supervision becomes something you review on Monday rather than assume.

Medical district and campuses

Hospitals in the Near Southside medical district and university campuses such as TCU want escorts, rounds and incidents classified in a way their risk team recognizes, and readable in a portal without calling your dispatcher.

Growth on the edges

New master-planned communities and the construction that comes before them keep spreading north and west of the city. Gated communities want gate logs, vehicle records and a monthly report the board reads; job sites want overnight tours with photos.

What CGuardPro gives a Fort Worth operation

Guard tours with proof

Checkpoints as printed QR codes or NFC tags. Every scan is verified on the server with time and position, with an optional photo or note, and a missed tour raises an alert.

GPS and selfie clock-in

Each punch carries a selfie, a GPS position checked against the post geofence and server time. Clock-in needs a live connection at the moment of the punch.

Visitor and vehicle logs

Gate entries and exits logged from the guard app, with the license plate read from a phone photo.

Post orders on the phone

Instructions written per post, so the officer opens the rules for that gate or that lobby, not a company handbook.

Push-to-talk radio

Voice channels inside the guard app over the data connection, so a new site can talk without buying handsets.

Client portal

Your client follows patrols, incidents and reports for their own sites, and only theirs.

What does Texas require of a guard company in Fort Worth?

The same as anywhere else in the state. Private security in Texas is regulated by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Private Security program under Occupations Code Chapter 1702, not by the city or the county. The company holds a license; each officer holds their own credential. DPS requires Level II training of non-commissioned officers, adds Level III (a minimum of 45 hours, with a firearms proficiency demonstration) for commissioned officers, and Level IV (a minimum of 15 hours) for personal protection officers, per its training and continuing education page.

CGuardPro does not license anyone. It keeps each officer’s documents on their profile and produces the record an audit asks for: who was assigned to which post, when they clocked in and what they did. The detail is in our Texas DPS license guide.

Fort Worth Security Software Questions

Can we run Fort Worth and Dallas accounts from one dashboard?

Yes. Every client, site and post lives in one operation, and the live board filters by client, by site or by supervisor, so a company covering both sides of the Metroplex works from one screen instead of one spreadsheet per city.

How do we prove the overnight yard patrol at a distribution center happened?

Put checkpoints on the route as QR codes or NFC tags. Each scan is verified on the server with its time and position, the officer can add a photo or note at a checkpoint, and a tour that is not completed raises an alert. When the client asks about 3 a.m., you open the tour history.

Do officers at events need radios?

Not necessarily. Push-to-talk channels run inside the guard app over the data connection, so a temporary event roster can talk from the first shift. Officers can pause the channel when they need their phone for something else.

What about posts where the signal drops, inside a plant or a big warehouse?

Incident reports, visitor entries and the start and finish of a tour queue on the phone and sync when the signal returns; an incident keeps the time it actually happened. A checkpoint scanned offline is stamped when it reaches the server. Clock-in needs a live connection, so agree where on the site the shift is punched.

Does CGuardPro make us DPS-compliant?

No software can. CGuard Pro LLC is not a licensed guard company and has no role in the DPS process; your company license and each officer’s credential stay yours to hold and renew. What CGuardPro does is keep officer documents on their profile and the evidence of who worked which post, and when, in a form you can produce quickly.

How is CGuardPro priced?

It is $5 per user per month, one plan with every feature, plus an optional one-time implementation package of $299.99. A user is anyone with a login: admins, supervisors, officers and the client logins you hand out. There is a 7-day free trial.
