Manufacturing security guard software
for plants and industrial sites

Manufacturing security guard software is judged at the gate and along the fence. Trucks, contractors and shift workers come and go around the clock, the perimeter is long, and the officer on nights is often alone. CGuardPro logs every vehicle at the gate with its plate, lets the plant pre-clear contractors before they arrive, verifies the perimeter rounds point by point and keeps a fire watch patrol on the same record when one is ordered. Trusted by 600+ security companies worldwide.

Short answer

Manufacturing security guard software is judged at the gate and along the fence, where trucks, contractors and shift workers move around the clock. CGuardPro logs every vehicle with its plate, driver, company and authorization, lets the plant pre-clear contractors with a scannable code, verifies perimeter rounds point by point, and can hold a fire watch patrol with its own checkpoints and cadence when one is ordered by the authority having jurisdiction.

Where an industrial contract leaks

The contractor list is out of date by Tuesday

Maintenance crews, shutdown contractors and vendors rotate constantly. Either everyone is waved through, or genuine crews wait at the gate while someone chases the plant manager for a confirmation.

A perimeter nobody can prove was walked

Fence lines, tank farms, loading docks and outbuildings on a big site at night. A sheet signed in the guard house looks exactly like a round that happened.

Hot work and impaired systems leave a gap

When a sprinkler system is down or hot work is under way, a fire watch may be ordered. If the patrol is kept on paper, the log that is supposed to prove it happened is the weakest document on site.

How a plant runs on CGuardPro

01

The gate records itself

Every vehicle is registered with its plate — the app can read it from a photo — the driver, the company, who authorised the entry and the exit time. A maximum stay per post flags trucks that stay longer than they should, and flagged plates warn the officer at the barrier.

02

Contractors cleared before they arrive

The plant raises a pre-authorisation for a named person or a plate with a validity window. It carries a code the officer scans at the gate, and the entry records who authorised it.

03

Perimeter and fire watch rounds, verified

QR or NFC checkpoints along the fence, the docks, the tank areas and the areas under fire watch. Cadence is configured per site — interval, rounds per shift, tolerance and maximum duration — and each scan carries the time, the position and the identified officer.

04

The lone officer is not alone

The panic button opens an alarm in your monitoring center with the officer identified and located, and a round that starts and does not finish on time raises its own flag.

Frequently asked questions

Can CGuardPro run a fire watch? +

It can hold the patrol: the areas under watch get their own checkpoints, the round gets its own interval and tolerance, and each scan is recorded with the time, the position and the officer. Whether a fire watch is required, and what its log must contain, is decided by the fire marshal or the authority having jurisdiction for that site, so check their requirements before you set it up.

Can a contractor be cleared before they reach the gate? +

Yes. A pre-authorisation is raised for a named visitor or a plate with a from and until window, and it carries a code the officer scans on arrival. Once used, it is tied to the entry it created.

Does the software open the gate or run a turnstile? +

No. There is no barrier control, no turnstile integration and no card reader. The platform records and warns, and a person opens the gate.

The plant has dead spots. Does the app still work? +

Mostly. Checkpoint scans, gate entries, reports and photos are stored on the phone and upload when the officer is back in coverage: a report keeps the time it happened, a checkpoint scan is stamped when it reaches the server. Clock-in and clock-out need a connection at that moment, so agree where the shift is punched.

Does it detect a fall or a man down automatically? +

No. There is no automatic fall detection. What exists is the officer's panic button, plus signals that do not depend on the officer: a round that never finishes, a round that never starts and a post with nobody clocked in.

Can the plant's security manager see the gate log? +

Yes. Their portal is limited to their own sites and shows the gate activity alongside the rounds, reports and incidents, with the time and place each one was recorded.
