Security Guard Software
for Corpus Christi Companies
CGuardPro is security guard management software for companies running posts in Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend: scheduling and relief coverage, GPS and selfie clock-in, verified guard tours, incident reports with photos, gate and visitor logs and a client portal, in one web command center with guard, supervisor and client apps for iOS and Android. It costs $5 per user per month, with a 7-day free trial. Corpus Christi guard work centers on the port, refineries and industrial sites along the ship channel, plus hotels, campuses and residential communities, through a Gulf hurricane season every year.
What does guard work in Corpus Christi look like?
The port and the ship channel
The Port of Corpus Christi is one of the largest US ports by tonnage and a leading gateway for crude-oil exports. Terminals, tank farms and laydown yards along the channel need gate control and tours over large, fenced ground where a checkpoint trail is the only record anyone can find at 3 a.m.
Refineries and plants
Refining and petrochemical sites run strict entry and escort rules, and many port-side facilities require officers to hold a TWIC card for unescorted access to secure areas. Keep each officer’s documents on their profile so “who on this roster can work the terminal” is a list you open.
Hurricane season
From June to November a Gulf storm can close sites, move officers and double the work at others within a day. Team messaging reaches officers in groups by post, and the schedule shows which posts are uncovered while officers cannot get in.
Tourism on the islands
North Padre and Mustang Island hotels, condos and beach events bring seasonal peaks. Hotel posts want rounds, incident logs and a report the general manager reads.
Military and campus
NAS Corpus Christi and nearby defense work, and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi on Ward Island, buy documented access control and incident records first.
Remote sites along the coast
Industrial and energy sites outside the city can have weak coverage. Incidents, visitor entries and tour start and finish queue on the phone and sync later; clock-in needs a live connection, so agree where the shift is punched.
What CGuardPro gives a Corpus Christi operation
Guard tours with proof
Checkpoints as printed QR codes or NFC tags. Every scan is verified on the server with time and position, with an optional photo or note, and a missed tour raises an alert.
Visitor and vehicle logs
Gate entries and exits logged from the guard app, with the license plate read from a phone photo.
Works through dead zones
Incidents, visitor entries and tour start and finish queue on the phone and sync when signal returns. A checkpoint scanned offline is stamped when it reaches the server.
GPS and selfie clock-in
Each punch carries a selfie, a GPS position checked against the post geofence and server time. Clock-in needs a live connection at the moment of the punch.
Incident reports with photos
Filed from the phone at the scene, classified and in front of your operations team and the client portal.
Client portal
Your client follows patrols, incidents and reports for their own sites, and only theirs.

What does Texas require of a guard company in Corpus Christi?
The same as anywhere else in the state. Private security in Texas is regulated by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Private Security program under Occupations Code Chapter 1702, not by the city or the county. The company holds a license; each officer holds their own credential. DPS requires Level II training of non-commissioned officers, adds Level III (a minimum of 45 hours, with a firearms proficiency demonstration) for commissioned officers, and Level IV (a minimum of 15 hours) for personal protection officers, per its training and continuing education page.
CGuardPro does not license anyone. It keeps each officer’s documents on their profile and produces the record an audit asks for: who was assigned to which post, when they clocked in and what they did. The detail is in our Texas DPS license guide.
Corpus Christi Security Software Questions
How do we prove patrols at a tank farm or laydown yard?
Place checkpoints on the route as QR codes or NFC tags. Each scan is verified on the server with time and position, the officer can add a photo or note at any checkpoint, and a missed tour raises an alert. The tour history is the record you hand the client.
Does CGuardPro check TWIC cards?
No. TWIC is issued and verified through the TSA program, and site owners decide who gets unescorted access. CGuardPro lets you keep each officer’s documents on their profile, so you can see who holds what before you assign them to a port-side post.
How do we run the operation through a hurricane?
Message officers by post group, mark the posts that close, and use the schedule to see which posts are still uncovered and who can relieve them. Incidents filed while the network is down keep the time they happened and sync when it returns.
Can a client with sites in Corpus Christi and Houston see both?
Yes. The client portal is organized by the sites a client owns, not by city, so one login shows every site that client has with you, and only those.
Does CGuardPro make us DPS-compliant?
No software can. CGuard Pro LLC is not a licensed guard company and has no role in the DPS process; your company license and each officer’s credential stay yours to hold and renew. What CGuardPro does is keep officer documents on their profile and the evidence of who worked which post, and when, in a form you can produce quickly.
How is CGuardPro priced?
It is $5 per user per month, one plan with every feature, plus an optional one-time implementation package of $299.99. A user is anyone with a login: admins, supervisors, officers and the client logins you hand out. There is a 7-day free trial.
