Security Guard Software
for El Paso Companies
CGuardPro is security guard management software for companies running posts in El Paso: scheduling and relief coverage, GPS and selfie clock-in, verified guard tours, incident and daily activity reports, visitor and vehicle logs and a client portal, with guard, supervisor and client apps in English and Spanish. It costs $5 per user per month, with a 7-day free trial. El Paso guard work follows cross-border trade, warehouses and truck yards near the ports of entry, plus hospitals, campuses and residential communities, on Mountain Time rather than Central.
What makes El Paso different?
A border logistics city
Manufacturing in Ciudad Juárez and the ports of entry, including the Bridge of the Americas and Ysleta-Zaragoza, feed warehouses, cross-docks and truck yards on the Texas side. Gate posts log trucks and trailers all night, and a plate read from a phone photo beats a handwritten sheet when a client asks which trailer left at 2 a.m.
Mountain Time, not Central
El Paso keeps Mountain Time, an hour behind Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. CGuardPro runs every schedule, punch and report in the time zone set for your company, so an El Paso company works on local time end to end. A company headquartered elsewhere in Texas should agree which clock its El Paso roster is written in.
Bilingual on both ends
Many officers work in Spanish and many clients read English, or the other way around. The guard app, reports and client portal run in both languages, and each person works in the one they read best.
Fort Bliss and federal work
A large Army installation and federal facilities shape the local market, from contractors near the post to government buildings downtown. Those buyers ask for documented access control and incident records first.
Desert heat and long exterior posts
Yard and gate posts in summer are a welfare question as much as a coverage one. Recurring tasks on a post can require a check at set times in the shift, and the answer keeps its timestamp.
Distance from everything else
El Paso is a long drive from any other Texas metro. Companies here run self-contained operations, so the supervisor app, the live map and a dispatcher who can reassign an open post matter more than a regional office down the highway.
What CGuardPro gives an El Paso operation
Visitor and vehicle logs
Gate entries and exits logged from the guard app, with the license plate read from a phone photo.
English and Spanish
The guard app, reports and client portal are available in Spanish as well as English, so officers and clients each read their own language.
Guard tours with proof
Checkpoints as printed QR codes or NFC tags. Every scan is verified on the server with time and position, with an optional photo or note, and a missed tour raises an alert.
GPS and selfie clock-in
Each punch carries a selfie, a GPS position checked against the post geofence and server time. Clock-in needs a live connection at the moment of the punch.
Scheduling and relief coverage
Build rotations, see an uncovered post before the shift starts and assign the relief officer from the same screen.
Client portal
Your client follows patrols, incidents and reports for their own sites, and only theirs.

What does Texas require of a guard company in El Paso?
The same as anywhere else in the state. Private security in Texas is regulated by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Private Security program under Occupations Code Chapter 1702, not by the city or the county. The company holds a license; each officer holds their own credential. DPS requires Level II training of non-commissioned officers, adds Level III (a minimum of 45 hours, with a firearms proficiency demonstration) for commissioned officers, and Level IV (a minimum of 15 hours) for personal protection officers, per its training and continuing education page.
CGuardPro does not license anyone. It keeps each officer’s documents on their profile and produces the record an audit asks for: who was assigned to which post, when they clocked in and what they did. The detail is in our Texas DPS license guide.
El Paso Security Software Questions
Does CGuardPro handle El Paso being on Mountain Time?
Each company works in one time zone, the one set in its settings, and every schedule, punch and report follows it. An El Paso company sets Mountain Time and everything reads in local time. If you run El Paso posts from a company set to Central time, your schedule is written in Central; decide that deliberately before you build the roster.
Can our officers use the app in Spanish while the client reads English?
Yes. The guard app, reports and client portal are available in Spanish and English, and each person uses their own language. That matters on the border, where the officer and the property manager often do not share a first language.
How do we log trucks at a yard gate?
The officer photographs the vehicle and the plate is read from the photo into the entry, with time and site. The entry stays in the post’s log, which is what a logistics client asks for when a trailer goes missing.
What happens on a site with poor coverage?
Incidents, visitor entries and tour start and finish queue on the phone and sync when signal returns; an incident keeps the time it happened, and a checkpoint scanned offline is stamped when it reaches the server. Clock-in needs a live connection at the moment of the punch.
Does CGuardPro make us DPS-compliant?
No software can. CGuard Pro LLC is not a licensed guard company and has no role in the DPS process; your company license and each officer’s credential stay yours to hold and renew. What CGuardPro does is keep officer documents on their profile and the evidence of who worked which post, and when, in a form you can produce quickly.
How is CGuardPro priced?
It is $5 per user per month, one plan with every feature, plus an optional one-time implementation package of $299.99. A user is anyone with a login: admins, supervisors, officers and the client logins you hand out. There is a 7-day free trial.
