Why look beyond TrackTik at all?

TrackTik is a broad platform. Its owner, Trackforce, describes it as an end-to-end platform for security operations, with modules from guard tours and dispatch to payroll, billing and business intelligence, and it prices by "site count and the modules you run". That suits many large operators. The usual reasons buyers look elsewhere are narrower: they want to see a price before a call, they want a trial on a real post, or they want fewer modules. Our TrackTik pricing page covers what Trackforce publishes. Note that Silvertrac and GuardTek are owned by the same group, which is why they are not on this list; the TrackTik alternative page explains what that means for a shortlist.

1. CGuardPro: the post and the control room, one price

CGuardPro is built outward from the guard's phone: GPS and selfie clock-in, geofences per post with exit alerts, QR and NFC checkpoints verified on the server with time and position, missed-tour and uncovered-post alerts, incident reports and daily activity reports, shift pass-down, panic button and client SOS, push-to-talk radio, an alarm receiver (Contact ID, SIA DC-09, Surgard) and a client portal. It is used by more than 600 security companies. It does not run payroll or invoice your clients; for US firms, approved hours go to Gusto free. Price: $5 per user per month, everything included.

2. Belfry: back office and field in one system

Belfry sells packages from Starter (scheduling, timekeeping) through Operations (guard tour, reporting, client portal) to Billing, Payroll and Benefits Admin. If you want payroll and benefits run in the same product as scheduling, it is one of the few options built for that. It charges per active employee and publishes no figure. See Belfry pricing and Belfry alternative.

3. GuardsPro: low entry price, modular tiers

GuardsPro publishes three tiers at $5, $8 and $10 per user per month, lower on annual billing, starting at three users, with a 30-day free trial and add-on modules such as a scheduler, dispatcher, visitor manager and invoicer. Its entry price beats ours on annual billing and its trial is longer. Check which tier holds the features you need: site tours, for example, sit in Professional. Details in GuardsPro pricing.

4. Novagems: no contract, no setup fee

Novagems covers scheduling, GPS and geofencing, NFC and QR tours, incident reports and a client portal, bills per active user, and is month to month with no setup or onboarding fees. It also serves cleaning, healthcare, retail and food service. It does not publish its rate. See Novagems alternative and Novagems vs TrackTik.

5. THERMS: reports and records first

THERMS is strong on template-driven reports, records of people, property and vehicles, and dispatch with GPS playback. Its banded prices are public and month to month, and above about 30 users they are lower than $5 per user. See THERMS alternative.

6. OfficerReports: priced per site

OfficerReports charges per site with unlimited officers: $70 a site with a two-site minimum, falling to $60 from 51 sites. Where each site carries more than about 14 people, that beats per-user pricing. See OfficerReports alternative.

7. Celayix: scheduling depth

Celayix is scheduling and time-and-attendance software used across security, healthcare, hospitality and other shift-based industries, with rules-based shift filling, shift bidding and an AI scheduling assistant. It publishes price ranges, a 25-employee minimum on an annual term and a 4–10 week implementation. See Celayix alternative.

8. TEAM Software WinTeam: the ERP route

WinTeam is an ERP for contract cleaning and security companies: accounting, payroll, HR, billing, job costing and scheduling in one system. TEAM says it is built for companies with over 100 employees and that 65% of the largest US security companies run on TEAM. If you want to replace your accounting system too, this is the category. See WinTeam alternative.

How should you choose between them?

Decide first where the system should end. If it should run payroll and accounting, look at Belfry and WinTeam. If scheduling is the hard part, look at Celayix. If you need proof at the post and a control room, test CGuardPro. Then price your own roster on each one's unit, per user, per site or per band, and run a trial on a real post. Our evaluation guide has the checklist.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best TrackTik alternatives?+

For most small and mid-sized US guard companies, the shortlist is CGuardPro, Belfry, GuardsPro, Novagems, THERMS, OfficerReports, Celayix and TEAM Software's WinTeam. They differ more in what they are built around than in features: Belfry and WinTeam reach into payroll and accounting, Celayix into scheduling, THERMS into reports, and CGuardPro into the post and the control room. Silvertrac and GuardTek are not on the list because they belong to the same group as TrackTik.

Which TrackTik alternative is cheapest?+

It depends on your shape. As of October 2026, GuardsPro's Essential tier is $4.25 per user per month on annual billing, THERMS is cheaper than $5 per user above about 30 users, and OfficerReports' per-site price with unlimited officers wins when each site carries many people. CGuardPro is $5 per user with every feature, which tends to win for firms with many small posts. Price your own roster on each before deciding.

Are Silvertrac and GuardTek alternatives to TrackTik?+

Not in the commercial sense. Trackforce's homepage says "Trackforce is now home to TrackTik, GuardTek and Silvertrac," so all three are sold by one company. You can still compare the products, but you would be negotiating with the same vendor. Our page on the singular TrackTik alternative explains what to ask a group that sells several products.

Which alternative runs payroll like TrackTik does?+

TrackTik lists payroll as a module. Among the alternatives, Belfry publishes payroll and benefits packages and TEAM Software's WinTeam is a full ERP with HR and payroll. CGuardPro does not run payroll: for US companies it sends approved hours to Gusto as time sheets for free, and payroll is run in Gusto. QuickBooks Online is also announced.

Can I try an alternative before talking to sales?+

Several publish a self-serve trial: CGuardPro (7 days), GuardsPro (30 days), Novagems (14 days), THERMS (14 days) and OfficerReports (14 days), as of October 2026. Belfry, Celayix and TEAM Software lead with a demo. Use the trial on one real post with your own officers, not on sample data.
