Where does GuardsPro beat CGuardPro on price?
On the published entry terms, plainly. Essential is $5 per user on monthly billing, the same as ours, and $4.25 on annual billing, which is lower. The trial is 30 days against our 14. GuardsPro's pricing page mentions no setup fee; we charge $299.99 once for implementation. If Essential covers what you need, GuardsPro is the cheaper buy.
GuardsPro also sells things CGuardPro does not have: an Invoicer add-on for estimates, invoices and payments, and payroll-report exports to QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP Workforce and Paychex in Professional. CGuardPro does not invoice your clients, and its payroll hand-off is to Gusto for US companies, with QuickBooks Online announced.
What does a matched-feature comparison look like?
Price the tier you would actually run. A typical guard company wants geofences, guard tours and a scheduler. At GuardsPro that is Professional ($10) plus the Scheduler add-on ($2): $12 per user per month on monthly billing, or $9.90 on annual billing. For 40 users, that is $480 a month monthly, or $396 a month billed annually. CGuardPro is $5 per user with all of those included: $200 a month for 40 users, plus $299.99 once. Add the Visitor Manager or Dispatcher add-ons and GuardsPro adds $1 per user each on monthly billing; CGuardPro includes visitor and vehicle logs.
The opposite case is just as real. A small firm that needs GPS tracking, a time clock and reports, and no tours, pays $4.25 per user on GuardsPro annual billing and owes no setup fee. For that buyer, GuardsPro wins on price.
What do you get from CGuardPro for $5 per user?
One plan: scheduling and relief coverage, GPS and selfie clock-in, geofences per post with exit alerts, QR and NFC checkpoints verified on the server, missed-tour alerts, incident and daily activity reports, shift pass-down, post orders, visitor and vehicle logs, panic button and client SOS, push-to-talk radio, an alarm receiver and a client portal. Site Tours is listed in the Professional tier ($10 per user per month, $8.50 annual) on GuardsPro's pricing page as of October 2026. Geofence appears from Advanced. Scheduling is an add-on module at $2 per user per month on monthly billing.
What does GuardsPro offer that CGuardPro does not?+
Two things worth naming. An Invoicer add-on that turns estimates into invoices and records payments: CGuardPro does not invoice your clients. And payroll-report exports to QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP Workforce and Paychex in the Professional tier: CGuardPro sends approved hours to Gusto for US companies, has announced QuickBooks Online, and has no ADP or Paychex integration.
Does GuardsPro have a minimum or a contract?+
Each tier "Starts at 3 Users". GuardsPro's FAQ says it does not tie customers to long-term contracts and that you can cancel any time. Its FAQ also says it charges only for active users. Ask whether client app logins count as users.
Was GuardsPro called Guardso?+
