Security Guard Software
for Honolulu Companies
CGuardPro is security guard management software for companies running posts in Honolulu and the rest of Oahu: scheduling and relief coverage, GPS and selfie clock-in, QR or NFC guard tours, incident and daily activity reports and a client portal, in one web command center with guard, supervisor and client apps for iOS and Android. It costs $5 per user per month, one plan with every feature, with a 7-day free trial. On Oahu the posts are hotels and condominium towers in Waikiki and Kakaako, contractors around Pearl Harbor-Hickam, the harbor and the airport, and every relief has to come from the same island.
What does guard work in Honolulu look like?
Waikiki hotels
Hotels along Waikiki run lobby, pool-deck and garage posts around the clock, with visitors in every language. Incident reports with photos and a category give the hotel’s own loss-prevention lead a record without a phone call.
Condominium towers
Residential towers in Waikiki, Kakaako and downtown answer to an association of apartment owners and a resident manager. Front desks want guest pre-authorization, package logs and post orders that match the house rules.
Around Pearl Harbor-Hickam
Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam keeps a ring of contractor offices, warehouses and housing nearby. Who gets onto an installation is the installation’s decision; the guard company keeps its own posts’ record clean.
Harbor and airport freight
Honolulu Harbor and the cargo side of the airport handle almost everything the island consumes. Warehouses and yards there want gate logs and night tours.
Relief comes from Oahu only
No one drives in from the next county. When an officer calls off, relief comes from the people already on the island, so seeing the gap early is the whole game.
Shopping centers and transit construction
Large shopping centers and the rail transit construction corridor add retail patrols and overnight construction posts with gate control.
What CGuardPro gives a Honolulu operation
License and certificate tracking
Each guard’s registration on the profile, with a warning ahead of the June 30 triennial renewal and the four hours of classroom instruction it requires.
Visitor pre-authorization
Condo residents approve guests from the client app; the desk officer scans the QR code on arrival.
Incident reports with photos
Hotel incidents with photos and a category, visible to the hotel in the client portal.
Call-off coverage
Call-offs show as uncovered shifts at once, so you can find relief on the island before the shift starts.
Visitor and vehicle logs
Truck entries at harbor-side warehouses with the plate read from a phone photo.
Push-to-talk radio
Push-to-talk channels in the app for a hotel or event team, without renting handsets.

What licensing applies to a guard company in Honolulu?
Hawaii licenses guards statewide through the Board of Private Detectives and Guards in the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, under HRS chapter 463. A guard agency employs a principal guard (four years of full-time guard or investigative work and an exam) and posts a bond of not less than $5,000. Each guard employee registers and completes eight hours of classroom instruction from a Board-approved instructor before the first day of service, then four hours in each three-year period; registrations renew June 30 every three years, next in 2027.
The local step is the uniform: an agency submits color photographs of its uniform, badge, emblem and ID for the Board and for the police department of each county where it operates, which on Oahu is the Honolulu Police Department. Beyond that, we have not found a separate City and County of Honolulu guard license; confirm with the city. Hawaii overtime starts after 40 hours in a workweek, with an exclusion for employees guaranteed $2,000 or more a month.
CGuardPro registers no one with the Board. It keeps each registration and training date on the officer profile and warns before they lapse. See our Hawaii page and the Hawaii licensing guide. This is a summary, not legal advice.
Honolulu Security Software Questions
When do Hawaii guard registrations renew?
June 30 every three years, with the next cycle in 2027, and each guard needs four hours of classroom instruction in the period. Record the date on each profile and CGuardPro warns ahead of it so the class gets scheduled in time.
Does Honolulu have its own guard license?
We have not found a separate City and County of Honolulu guard license. The Board licenses agencies and registers guards statewide, and the agency’s uniform and badge photos go to the Board and to the county police department. Confirm with the city for anything else.
Can condo residents approve guests from their phones?
Yes. A resident with a client login pre-authorizes a guest and sends a QR code; the desk officer scans it on arrival and the entry lands in the visitor log for that building.
How do we cover a hotel call-off at 5 a.m.?
The shift shows as uncovered the moment the officer calls off. You can send relief, extend the officer on duty or move someone from another site on the island, and every change stays in the schedule history.
What does it cost for a Honolulu company?
$5 per user per month with every feature, an optional one-time implementation of $299.99 and a 7-day free trial. A user is anyone with a login, including resident or client logins you hand out.
