Security Guard Software
for Atlanta Companies
CGuardPro is security guard management software for companies running posts in Atlanta and the metro counties around it: scheduling and relief coverage, GPS and selfie clock-in, QR or NFC guard tours, incident and daily activity reports and a client portal, in one web command center with guard, supervisor and client apps for iOS and Android. It costs $5 per user per month, one plan with every feature, with a 7-day free trial. Atlanta guard work runs on warehouses around the airport and the interstates, film and TV studios, Midtown, Buckhead and Downtown towers, apartment communities, and convention and stadium days.
What does guard work in Atlanta look like?
The airport and the logistics belt
Hartsfield-Jackson and the interstates that meet in Atlanta pull warehouses and truck yards to the south side and out along I-75, I-85 and I-285. Gate posts log every trailer and yard tours need a checkpoint trail.
Studios and sound stages
Film and TV studios south and west of the city run gate posts, set security and overnight stage patrols. A production that moves to a location carries its own post, geofence and post orders.
Midtown, Buckhead and Downtown
Office and residential towers run lobby desks, garage patrols and visitor logs that the property manager reads in the client portal rather than in a binder.
Apartment communities
Large apartment communities across the metro want night patrols, gate logs and incidents with photos, plus a monthly view the management company can read.
Convention and stadium days
Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena and the Georgia World Congress Center sit within walking distance downtown, and Truist Park is in Cobb County. Event rosters of short shifts use push-to-talk channels inside the app.
Campuses
Georgia Tech, Emory and other campuses want residence hall desks, building checks and escorts on a record their public safety office recognizes.
What CGuardPro gives an Atlanta operation
License and certificate tracking
Each officer’s Georgia registration and weapon permit dates on their profile, with alerts well ahead of the August 31 odd-year expiry.
Visitor and vehicle logs
Trailer and visitor entries at a warehouse or studio gate, with the plate read from a phone photo.
Guard tours with proof
Yard and community patrols over QR or NFC checkpoints, each scan verified on the server with time and position.
Visitor pre-authorization
Residents approve guests from the client app; the officer scans the QR code at the gate.
Push-to-talk radio
Event-day voice channels inside the guard app, over the data connection.
Daily activity reports
Daily activity reports built from the shift, for property managers and studio producers.

What does Georgia require of a guard company in Atlanta?
Licensing is statewide. The Georgia State Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies, under the Secretary of State, licenses security companies and registers their employees. Its rules make company licenses expire on June 30 of each odd-numbered year and employee registrations and weapon permits on August 31 of each odd-numbered year. Training is set in chapter 509-3: a minimum of 24 hours of classroom instruction, at least 15 hours of handgun training for armed officers, and 8 hours of continuing education before a registration is renewed.
These are state credentials, the same in Atlanta as in Savannah. Georgia has no state overtime rule of its own, so the federal weekly 40-hour rule applies; see our Georgia page.
CGuardPro does not register anyone with the board. Because so many Georgia renewals fall on the same dates, the alerts on each officer’s profile are where it helps most. Details in the Georgia license guide.
Atlanta Security Software Questions
Many of our Georgia registrations expire on the same day. Can CGuardPro help?
Yes. Put each officer’s registration and weapon permit dates on their profile and license tracking alerts ahead of time, so continuing education and renewals are spread out instead of crammed into August of an odd year.
Can we run security for a film production that moves locations?
Yes. Each location is a post with its own address, geofence and post orders. Create it for the shoot, assign the crew and close it when the production moves; the history stays.
How do apartment management companies see our night patrols?
Give them a client login. They see tours, incidents with photos and daily activity reports for their communities only, and residents can pre-authorize guests from the client app.
Can we log trailers at a warehouse gate near the airport?
Yes. The officer records each entry and exit in the guard app with the plate read from a phone photo, and the log stays with the post for the client to read.
Can one roster cover a stadium event and our regular posts?
Yes. Event posts get their own dates in the same schedule, the board shows conflicts, and push-to-talk channels in the app keep the event team connected.
