Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy wands or any reader? +

No. Checkpoints are printed QR codes (or optional NFC tags) scanned with the officer's phone using the CGuardPro app. There is no proprietary hardware to buy or replace.

What if the guard has no signal during the tour? +

Scans are recorded locally on the phone and sync automatically when the connection returns, keeping the real time of each scan.

Can a scan be faked, for example by photographing the QR code? +

Validation happens in the system: the phone's GPS position, the sequence and the configured timing for the route are all checked. A code scanned from somewhere else is not accepted.

Can the client see the tours at their property? +

Yes. Through the client portal, each client sees the tour history for their sites with verified times and checkpoints — real evidence of the service they pay for.

How many checkpoints can I create? +

There is no practical limit: define the routes, the number of checkpoints and the frequency rules for each post or site from the dashboard.
