Frequently asked questions
Does GPS tracking invade the guard's privacy? +
Location is recorded only during the shift and only for operational purposes, with consent handled by your company as the employer. Off duty, the app does not track.
How much battery does tracking use? +
Tracking is tuned to report often enough during the shift without draining the phone across a 12-hour tour.
Can I see the route the supervisor ran last night? +
Yes. Vehicle patrols are recorded by route: which posts were visited, what time they arrived at each one and what they reported.
What if the guard turns off GPS or the phone? +
Dispatch sees it: device status (last signal, battery) is visible, and a prolonged gap in reporting raises an inactivity alert.
Can the client see this information? +
The client sees proof of service at their own sites (verified tours, reports, attendance) from their portal — you decide the level of detail.
